Pumpkin Spice?

Yeah, it’s Pumpkin Spice season - not exactly my favorite time of year. However, below is a list of items that are marketed as Pumpkin Spice which peaked my curiosity and caused me to be just a little concerned. Don’t believe me, search for yourself.

1) Toothpaste. Start your day with a fresh burst of... pumpkin spice? Nothing says clean teeth like the lingering taste of a cinnamon-kissed latte. Dental hygiene was never so festive.

2) Shampoo and Conditioner. Why not have your hair smell like a pumpkin spice latte all day long? Who doesn't want that extra boost of caffeine while showering?

3) Toilet Paper. Who needs regular toilet paper when you can have the gentle caress of pumpkin spice? Just don't mistake it for a snack in the middle of the night. BTW, how can we be at number four and we haven’t even left the bathroom?

4) Motor Oil. Why not let your car's engine enjoy the warm, cozy feeling of fall while it's working hard for you? That's right, folks, your car has needs too!

5) Duct Tape. Dudes, I’ve got ya! Just what you need when you want your DIY projects to have that special autumn aroma, reach for the pumpkin spice duct tape. It's both adhesive and adorable! Go ahead, show your softer side.

6) Barbecue Sauce. Sure, summer is over, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the taste of barbecue with a touch of pumpkin spice. Ribs, anyone?

7) Pumpkin Spice Scented Fire Extinguisher. OK, we made this one up, but just in case your kitchen experiments with pumpkin spice go horribly wrong, wouldn’t this extinguisher be a great way to make sure the fire smells cozy as it gets put out?

8) Horse Feed. I wish I could say this is fake, but evidently the equestrians out there, want to ensure their equine friends experience the essence of autumn with every nibble. I guess horses deserve a pumpkin spice treat too.

9) Pumpkin Spice-Scented Cat Litter. Based on the horse feed, you might think this was real, after all, your feline friends deserve the warm and cozy scent of pumpkin spice too. It's purrfect for covering up the less pleasant odors in the litter box. If you develop this based on my post, I’ll let you know where to send the royalty checks.

10) Wine, Cheese, and Crackers. While I couldn’t find a wine (but I’m sure it’s out there), I have experienced the cheese and crackers. This creamy delicacy combines the richness of cheese with the warm, comforting embrace of pumpkin spice. Imagine the smooth, velvety texture of cheese infused with a symphony of seasonal flavors. Each delectable bite offers a subtle sweetness, a hint of cinnamon, and a touch of nutmeg, perfectly complementing the savory notes of the cheese. Pair it with crisp apple slices and Triscuit crackers. These delectable crackers take your taste buds on a journey through the season with every bite. They are sprinkled with a medley of pumpkin spice seasonings, including notes of cinnamon, ginger, and cloves, giving each Triscuit a delightful fall twist.

Fear not my friends, the blip that is Pumpkin Spice will soon be gone as store shelves are already ushering in gingerbread, candy canes, and eggnog. These flavors will quickly sleigh away my gourdian nemesis and return order to my kingdom.
