The Week Ahead
A couple of weeks ago I wrote a Daily Coffee Thought based on each day of the week. It also represented the first time I have ever posted on a weekend as I felt the poem was incomplete without the weekend’s inclusion. Many of you have asked to see the poem in its entirety, so here you go.
In Monday’s dawn, new dreams take flight, A canvas fresh, bathed in hopeful light. The week’s embrace, a chance to begin, To sculpt our fate, shed old skin with.
On Tuesday’s tide, momentum swells, Tasks and trials, the story tells. With focused grace., we navigate, Through challenges met, we elevate.
Wednesday whispers secrets sweet, Midweek’s dance where paths may meet. A symphony of work and play, We journey on, come what may.
Thursday’s sun ignites the fire, Burns the doubt, ignites desire. Closer now to dreams we chase, In perseverance, we find our place.
As Friday’s sun dips low with grace, It signs relief in its warm embrace. The workweek’s pattern woven complete, Its triumphs and lessons are bittersweet.
In Saturday’s light, friends gather near, Laughter and love, so crystal clear. In bonds we cherish, hearts entwined, A symphony of moments divine.
Sunday’s hush, a tranquil balm, Our sanctuary, a soothing psalm. Reflections bloom, like flowers in May, A renewed spirit finds its way.
Restful whispers, gentle and kind, A pause to nourish the soul and mind. In Faith, we find solace, solid and deep. Sunday’s embrace, a promise to keep.
And as the weekend exits with grace, A A cycle complete, with a slowing of pace. With Monday’s dawn, we will rise anew, A weaving of time, forever true.
For each week unfolds with stories untold, The journey of a life that never grows old.
